Textile Jewellery

Design, play and experiment with shape, texture and colour to create unique personalised jewellery of your choice, using fabric, threads, yarn, raffia, beads etc. Perfect for people who like to wear their art or try out new techniques. No previous experience necessary.

Create colourful, textured and patterned textile-based jewellery using a variety of crafts, including weaving, sewing, coiled basketry, cordage, plaiting, beading, braiding, etc. We will make bracelets, pendants, hair clips, key fobs, rings, brooches, earrings, bookmarks, necklaces, mobiles and/or other intricate items.

Metal findings will be provided to complete your pieces. It will be possible to make two or three items during the course, you may need to complete some of your jewellery at home.
